My wife Julie and I set up AHM Installations following her experiences in nursing and caring, and my previous experience in the mobility industry with the aim of creating a business that was honest, compassionate, and which people could trust.
When we formed AHM in 1999, accessible bathrooms were a new expertise within the bathroom industry, and it was easier for things to go wrong - unethical practices were more common and consumers had less information and protection.
This didn't sit well with us - we wanted to protect those who needed a bathing solution, so using our knowledge and experience we started to design and create mobility bathrooms that were safe, functional and stylish.
