Bathroom Design Studio
I'm Jane and I bring you over 20 years experience designing bathrooms. Whether you need guidance or inspiration with your whole project, or are on the hunt for those must have bathroom products? Whatever you are looking for, I would love to help! After visiting a fancy hotel in London and falling in love with the bathroom we described our dream to Jane.

What she designed and ended up with was better than we imagined. Her design incorporated everything we wanted and more. We thought we were restricted in in the design until we saw that Jane cane up with. A great bathroom designer and her interior design knowledge came in handy when we were choosing tiles. We needed to replace our bathroom but were struggling to get to a design that was both sensitive to the period of our cottage but also modern and practical for us to use!

We engaged Jane at the Bathroom Design Studio to help us and she came up with a design that delighted us as it totally met our brief. Having a scaled visual picture to work with was so helpful in helping us ensure the result would be perfect.
Services
Our designer, Jane Ive, brings you the benefit of over 20 years experience in Bathroom Design.
Taking care of the little details is really important to us.
Well thought out & considered in our approach means your bathroom will be given the best attention to detail possible and you will be supported throughout the journey.
We believe a better thought bathroom is a better bought bathroom.
We pride ourselves on how many of our customers find us by recommendation from friends & family, with many returning for further projects.
Many people think that collecting brochures is the way to start looking for a new bathroom.
A branded brochure may help the manufacturers sell products, but they rarely demonstrate how to create an inspiring space.
I find that people ask for brochures, but really what they want is a new bathroom they can be proud of.
The available range of choices is so vast that it can be very daunting to know what will give the desired effect, even if you have a clear idea of the style you want.
Bathrooms are very personal places, but often they're seen as plumbing, rather than design projects.
Many people set off to look round showrooms but the more you look, the more confused you can become.
I believe it's all about considering your choices in the context of the room.
Understanding the practical requirements of the space and realising what you don't like can be a better way to focus your thinking to start with.
Next, getting an idea of your style preferences can be a good use of research time.
I often recommend people use HOUZZ, a fantastic online resource of completed projects.
It's often the consideration beyond the product choices, such as lighting and textural contrast, that makes an exciting space.
Most people pop in to the showroom for an initial introduction, but many also call to have a chat through their requirements too.
From here I will arrange to call out to your home.
Discussing the project in the context of the room is invaluable.
I can assess the possibilities of the space, investigating opportunities allowed by the plumbing too.
I'll invite you back to the showroom where I'll present my design proposal to you.
Then we get to work!
My process is all about collaboration, with you at the helm throughout.
So, before you get dazed & confused by too much choice, let me guide you in how to get the best from Houzz.
It's a fantastic resource, described as the online equivalent of clipping dcor images from magazines, something every smart phone owner should download, an app to stoke your imagination.
First create an IdeaBook and then, using a variety of words that relate to your aspirational bathroom, make several searches in 'photos'.
Any picture that resonates with you needs saving.
But don't look too closely at what it was that made it pop off the screen - yet, or you'll lose yourself.
